Congratulations to the Pats who are the Central Section Champs! The girls basketball team defeated Tehachapi 58 – 51 in the D-II Central Championship game at Selland Arena in Fresno on Friday night.

Liberty’s Annual Dime Wars competition among second period classes brought in $1,642.06 that will be donated to Marley’s Mutts and the Rescue Ranch to help pay for needed surgeries for rescue dogs.

This past Friday, girls soccer defeated Clovis East 3-0 at Patriot Stadium. The Lady Patriots will host Redwood this Tuesday, February 21, @ 6pm in the CIF D-I semi-finals. Let’s go PATRIOTS!

Congrats to the girls basketball team on a huge road win in the quarterfinals of the DII section playoffs! The #6 Pats beat #3 Sierra Pacific 54-41 and will host the semifinals vs. #7 Mission Oak on Tuesday at 6 p.m. GO PATRIOTS!

Congratulations to the Liberty Patriot Girls Wrestling team who competed in the 2023 Masters Tournament this past Saturday. Vanessa Fakrogha, a sophomore, qualified for the state tournament beginning this Thursday at Mechanics Bank Arena.

Patriot basketball, soccer, and wrestlers are in the postseason! Our undefeated Lady Patriot soccer team earned the #1 seed in D-I. The Pats have a 1st round bye and will host a game on Friday 2/17. Congatulations to the girls soccer program for all three levels finishing undefeated! Boys soccer is on the road in D-II this Tuesday 6pm at Mission Oak in Tulare. In addtion, we host two first round D-II basketball games this week. Girls basketaball hosts McFarland on Tuesday at 6pm. Boys basketball hosts Sierra Pacific on Wednesday at 6pm. Finally, we had 8 wrestlers qualify for the Masters tournament later this week.

The champions of Kern County high schools competed Wednesday night for the South Yosemite Conference championship title. Liberty freshman Delilah Robles (W28-L7) at 119 pounds defeated her Golden Valley opponent 5-4 to earn the prestigious championship title. She also placed first in her weight class at the South Yosemite River League Championship competition Jan. 27 at Frontier High School.
