Anna started taking college classes her 10th grade year and received an AA in Psychology. Her favorite class was Social Psychology. She has a passion for kids and plans to study at CSUB and become an elementary school teacher or mental health professional.
Julian started taking college classes his 9th grade year and focused on classes in the industrial automation program. His favorite class was Computer Integrated Manufacturing. He plans to attend CSUB and study electrical engineering.
Victoria started taking classes at BC her 9th grade year and received an AA in Liberal Arts and an AA-T (Associate in Arts Degree for Transfer) in History. Her favorite class was contemporary fil studies. She plans to attend UCLA focusing on public affairs and film in hopes to one day become a documentary filmmaker.

Bakersfield College Kern Promise
Kern Promise is a commitment between transfer students and Bakersfield College to help students complete their Associate Degree for Transfer (AD-T) within two years as long as transfer students meet all program requirements. Kern Promise students get several perks to help them achieve their transfer goals. As a Kern Promise student, you will be eligible for priority registration, a $250 book scholarship per semester, and paid tuition.
