Spring Sports Athletic Packet All athletes, not involved in a fall or winter sport, must submit a new physical exam form (filled out by a physician) and electronic sports packet prior to participating. Mobile Blood Drive @ Liberty Wednesday Students who are at least 16 years old can donate blood when the Houchin mobile blood drive comes to Liberty on Wednesday, January 24. Come pick up a permission slip for our blood drive in the activities office and sign up for a slot. All donors will be put in a raffle for a free prom ticket. When you give, people live!

Campus Improvements Over the course of the first semester, we have seen painters on campus almost daily freshening up our campus. This will continue into the spring. In addition, to improve efficiency, noise level, and air quality, a new HVAC project started over the winter break. By the beginning of next school year, the 25-year-old HVAC unit ventilators in every classroom will be replaced.
Liberty Chess Competes in KHSD Tournament Nine Liberty Chess Club members competed in junior varsity and varsity brackets at last weekend’s Kern High School District five-round chess tournament at Highland High School. The Patriots had two students place in the varsity section: Lily Arnold took 2nd and Piheng (Chen) Chen took 5th. Ethan Bajwa took 3rd in JV after two blitz (5 minute sudden death) tie break victories.
Caroling for Cans Thirty-five members of Liberty’s Just Serve Club went “Caroling for Cans” to collect food for the Salvation Army Saturday, Dec. 9, in neighborhoods near school.
