This is We Matter Week. The “I Matter, You Matter, We Matter” Campaign started in 2017 at Liberty High School. It was a joint effort with a group of students passionate about reminding our student body that there is so much to celebrate about life and that no one is truly alone. We are all more alike than we are different and we all matter.

The Synergy ParentVUE app allows parents to monitor their student's grades and attendance. If you have your student's 6 digit UID (student number) and birthdate you can set up your account remotely. In addition, Mrs. Cavazos in the parent center can also help you in person, over the phone, or via email.

Canvas is a Learning Management System that many teachers use to post assignments, collect assignments, and display grades. It is also a great location for students who are absent to find out what they missed. Parents can access their student's classes via Canvas to see the same information students see: announcements, assignments, and graded assignments.

After school tutoring is available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30. In addition, the Library is also open for students until 4:30, Tuesday - Thursday. Students also have access to Tutor.com 24/7 through their Canvas accounts.

Tutor.com, part of The Princeton Review company, is a 24/7 online tutoring platform that is available to all KHSD students. Students can access this service from each of their teachers’ Canvas courses OR from the Help button on the Canvas main page. Students can get help with whatever they are working on, whenever they need it, from a real person, not a robot.

Liberty selected Hall Photography as our school photographer. All seniors must be photographed by Hall Photography in order to appear in the 2023-2024 yearbook. Sessions take place from July – October. Don’t wait! Sessions fill up fast! An appointment must be booked prior to the end of September.

The daily announcements read to all 2nd period classes are available on our website. This Daily Bulletin includes information about club meetings, upcoming events, and scholarship opportunities. The link can be found under the resources tab of our website menu or by clicking this news story.

The PSAT is great practice for the SAT and results come with feedback on strengths and areas of improvement. Sophomores and juniors can purchase the exam for $18 at the Finance Office. The exam will be administered online this year in the Library on October 24, 25, or 26. Students can access the PSAT/NMSQT 2022 Student Guide through the link below.
