Spring Sports Round-Up

Swim/Dive

  • Both boys and girls teams won league championships
  • Girls took 3rd in section meet and boys took 4th in section meet
  • Both sent two relay teams to the state meet May 16th/17th. 
  • Migo Armas - Swam the 200 IM at the state meet
  • Sophia Munoz-Rodriguez finished 9th in the 200 IM and 6th in the butterfly at the state meet. 
  • Jacob Zimmerman finished 18th in 50 freestyle at the state meet

  • Girls 200 Medley Relay 1st Place:Jillian Bean, Sophia Munoz-Rodriguez, Gracie Dean, Paige Bowyer
  • Boys 200 medley 2nd Place: Migo Armas, Carter Stiles, Jacob Zimmerman, Lucas Cuper
  • Girls 100 Butterfly- 2nd place: Sophia Munoz-Rodriguez
  • Girls 200 Medley 1st Place: Sophia Munoz-Rodriguez

  • Co-league champs with Stockdale
  • Jaden Lee, singles, and Keen Nguyen and Luca Garone, doubles, advanced to section
  • Keen Nguyen and Luca Gaone placed 4th at section finals

 

Golf

  • Advanced to the section tournament in Arroyo Grande on May 19th played at Cypress Ridge.
  •  Competed in the area tournament 5/12-13th. 
  • Finished 2nd overall in the league to Stockdale.
  • Advancing to State Golf tournament on 5/29/25: Ty Weaver and Stanley Cohen

 

Baseball

  • One season highlight was the annual Boras Classic played over Spring Break.
  • Came close to upsetting the Division I top seeded Buchanan in the round one of section playoffs with a final score of 8-7

 

Softball

  •  Won first round in section playoffs  vs Highland 9-4. 
  • Lost in quarter-finals to Bakersfield Christian
