Patriot Family,
What an incredible week at Liberty High School! I continue to be amazed by the talent, teamwork, and school spirit that fill our campus.
This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of watching our students perform in Little Women. I was so impressed by the professionalism, heart, and emotion our students brought to the stage. A special shoutout to Caitlin Herring, who made her debut performance, stepping in for the OG Perry Ware, she did a phenomenal job. I am so proud of our talented cast and crew for delivering such a memorable production.
Friday night brought even more excitement as our football team secured a first-round playoff victory. I can’t wait to cheer them on this Friday in the section semifinals at Hanford. We’re so proud of their hard work and determination, Go Patriots!
This weekend also brings big moments for Kara Campoy and Emily Cove, who will compete in the section tennis tournament at Garces Memorial High School on Friday and Saturday. Best of luck, ladies, we’re behind you all the way.
Last Thursday night, we launched a new Liberty tradition with Midnight Madness to kick off basketball season. The event was full of energy and community spirit. Our dance team wowed the crowd, and all three levels of our girls and boys basketball programs showcased their talent, giving us a thrilling preview of what’s ahead this season. I love seeing the collaboration between all levels of our programs and the fun, family atmosphere that filled the gym.
And congratulations to our girls volleyball team, who earned the number one seed in Division 2. They’ll play this Tuesday at 5:00 p.m., and if they keep winning, Liberty could host games all the way to the state finals. Please come out and support our incredible athletes.
As we continue our four-day weekend, I hope everyone takes some time to rest and recharge. Not counting Thanksgiving week, we have just four weeks until finals. Let's encourage our students to stay focused, be present, and finish the semester strong.
I am so proud of all that our students are accomplishing. Their dedication and spirit make Liberty High School such a special place to be.
Enjoy the long weekend, and as always, Go Patriots!
