Patriot Families,
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the hard work our students and staff are putting in this school year. The dedication and effort I see daily is inspiring, and I am proud of the progress we are making together.
This Tuesday afternoon, Progress One grades will be posted and available for viewing through ParentVue and StudentVue. Please remember, these grades are simply a benchmark—a snapshot of how your student is doing at this point in the semester. If your student is struggling, I encourage you to reach out directly to their teacher. Our staff is here to support and partner with you in your student’s success.
I’m also excited to share that this week brings the Kern County Fair. We look forward to seeing our Liberty FFA students represent our school with pride, and I know they will make us all proud with their hard work and dedication.
Additionally, this week we will be celebrating We Matter Week. This is a special reminder that every student, family, and staff member is valued and matters deeply to the Liberty community. Together, we make up Liberty High School. While there are always challenges to navigate, I believe that through collaboration, problem-solving, and support, we can help our students build resilience and grow in their learning journey.
Thank you for being a part of this community. Your partnership is vital to the success of our students.
Your partner in learning and growing,
Leandrea Slayton Principal, Liberty High School
