Family Engagement Workshops Begin September 17

One of the most impactful opportunities this year will be the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE) Family Engagement Workshops, beginning Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Liberty Library.

These free, eight-week workshops are designed to help families grow in confidence and knowledge as active contributors to their children’s success. Each session will highlight tools and strategies that parents can put into action right away.

Topics include:

  • Social & Emotional Well-Being: Practical strategies to support resilience and healthy growth in students.

  • Digital Literacy: Essential skills for guiding children in today’s technology-driven classrooms.

  • Navigating School Systems: Expert advice on understanding policies, programs, and resources that shape the student experience.

  • Pathways to Higher Education: Insights into college and career opportunities, including how to prepare early.

  • Confidence in Advocacy: Practical ways to partner with educators and champion children’s progress.

Workshops will be led by PIQE facilitators, ensuring a welcoming and interactive experience for all families.
