The Liberty High School Band, Drumline & Colorguard are bringing their 2026 field show, Refraction, to life through music, movement, color, and visual design. This powerful production explores what happens when light passes through something new, bending and changing direction to reveal something unexpected. Patriot Speech & Debate kicked off its competition season on Saturday, October 10, at Foothill High School, and our Patriots made Liberty proud!
Competing against teams from across the Kern High School District, as well as McFarland and Wasco, our students represented Liberty with poise, confidence, and grace. With eight students competing across five events, the team gained valuable experience, learned a great deal, and, most importantly, had fun along the way.

She is an active member of ASB, National Honor Society, and Math National Honor Society, serves as a tutor, runs her own photography business, and competes through the California High School Rodeo Association. Through rodeo, Farah competes monthly and is working toward her goal of winning at the state level this year.

At Liberty High School, we believe that every student deserves to feel heard, valued and connected. This year, we launched our first round of Listening Circles, creating a space where students can share their experiences, listen to one another and work together to strengthen our school community.
The purpose of the Listening Circles is simple: to help students understand one another, express their thoughts and concerns, and build a stronger sense of belonging at Liberty.
