The first day of summer school is June 2nd. The school day begins at 7:30am and ends at 2:10pm.

This week, we had the privilege of celebrating the Liberty High School Class of 2026 as they crossed the stage and officially became Liberty alumni. After watching the weather forecast all week and wondering what graduation night might bring, we were grateful that the rain held off, allowing us to enjoy a chilly but beautiful evening surrounded by family, friends, staff, and community members who came together to honor this remarkable class.

Liberty High School was proudly represented at the CIF State Track & Field Championships this weekend as several Patriot athletes competed against the very best competitors in California. Their performances capped off an outstanding season and showcased the talent, determination, and competitive spirit that define Liberty athletics.
Leading the way was junior Maddie Porter, who earned an incredible 2nd-place finish in the state in the pole vault. Maddie cleared 12'6", tying the eventual state champion's height. The championship was decided only by the number of attempts, with the winner reaching the mark in fewer tries. Maddie’s runner-up finish comes on the heels of a personal-best performance at the Central Section Championships, where she cleared 12'8". As if competing at the highest level in one event was not enough, Maddie also qualified for and competed in the 100-meter hurdles, demonstrating her versatility and athletic excellence.

The Liberty Patriots baseball team continues to make history, adding another remarkable achievement to an already unforgettable season. Yesterday, the Patriots captured the CIF Central Section Division I Championship with an impressive 6-2 victory over Bullard, further cementing their place among the elite teams in California. League champions and now section champions, the Patriots will enter the CIF State Division I Playoffs as the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 seed La Mirada this Tuesday at Liberty High School at 4:00 p.m.

One of Liberty High School’s most meaningful traditions begins long before students walk across the graduation stage. It starts during freshman registration, the very first step in a student’s high school journey. and symbolizes a commitment to graduate in four years.

This past Wednesday morning, Liberty High School proudly celebrated the Class of 2026 during the annual Senior Commit Ceremony. This tradition is a meaningful event recognizing both academic accomplishments and students’ commitments to their next chapter after graduation.
Surrounded by family members, teachers, staff, and classmates, seniors were honored for years of dedication, perseverance, leadership, and service. The ceremony served as both a celebration of achievements earned and a reflection on the journey that brought students to this important milestone.

Wednesday afternoon was a special celebration for Liberty as family, friends, staff, teammates, and students gathered to honor eight outstanding student-athletes who officially signed their symbolic letters of commitment to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.

The Liberty Patriots boys golf team wrapped up an impressive season filled with team success, individual accomplishments, and strong performances against some of the toughest competition in the area.
The Patriots opened the year in dominant fashion by capturing the championship at the Patriot Invitational preseason tournament with a winning team score of 394. Leading the way was Jedadiah Page, who earned 1st overall individually with an outstanding round of 73, setting the tone for what would become a remarkable season for the team.

Liberty’s swim team capped off an incredible season by competing at the CIF State Championships, one of the most prestigious high school swimming events in the country. Qualifying for the state meet alone is an outstanding accomplishment, especially considering California is consistently ranked among the top three fastest states in the nation for high school swimming competition. Earning the opportunity to compete against the best swimmers in California is truly an honor and a reflection of the dedication, discipline, and countless hours of preparation our student-athletes invested throughout the season.

Liberty Track & Field delivered an outstanding performance this week at the first round of the CIF Section Championships, showcasing the hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit of our student-athletes. The meet began in exciting fashion as the boys’ 4x100 relay team of Carter Hanson, Roman Salazar, Brodie Beaulieu, and Kasen Essman broke the school record while capturing 1st place at the Division I Championship. The momentum continued throughout the meet with several dominant performances in the sprint events, helping the boys earn an impressive 4th place overall team finish. Carter Hanson also added to the strong showing by placing 3rd in the 100-meter dash.
