Career exposure matters. Research consistently shows that students benefit from meaningful opportunities to learn about careers, connect with professionals, and better understand the pathways that lead to future opportunities. Students cannot make informed decisions about their future if they do not know what futures are available to them.
A career fair gives our students the opportunity to explore, connect, and plan. They can discover careers they may have never considered, ask questions of people who work in those fields, learn about education and training requirements, and begin thinking about the skills and experiences they will need to reach their goals.
For some students, a conversation with a Liberty parent, community member, or local professional may be the first time they meet someone who works in a career they have always wondered about. For others, it may introduce them to an entirely new possibility.
We Need Our Liberty Family
We are inviting Liberty parents, alumni, community members, and business partners to be part of this important event. You do not have to be a professional speaker or have a complicated presentation. We simply want students to have the opportunity to talk with people who are willing to share their experiences, answer questions, and give them a glimpse into the world of work.
What do you do? How did you get there? What do you wish you had known when you were in high school? What advice would you give a student interested in your field?
Those conversations can make a difference.
