The evening began with dinner, giving families time to sit together, visit, and unwind before picking up their paintbrushes. Participants of all ages enthusiastically followed Mrs. Galicia’s instructions, adding their own unique touches along the way. Laughter, concentration, and plenty of artistic expression filled the room.
Esther Reyes-Garza, mom of Hiram Garza-Reyes, shared, “I enjoyed spending time with my family and disconnecting from technology. It was very relaxing.” Her words perfectly capture the heart of the event that provided families an opportunity to slow down and simply enjoy being together.
Family Center Liaison Amalia Pelayo reflected, “Family Paint Night is more than an event, it’s a celebration of creativity, connection, and community. I’m grateful to help create moments where families and staff can make memories together.”
Family Paint Night continues to be an annual favorite at Liberty, and due to popular requests, we are excited to begin planning a Spring Paint Night. We look forward to welcoming even more families for another evening of art, laughter, and lasting memories.
