Applying to a Bakersfield College transfer pathway, such as Kern Promise or the Transfer Success Pathway (TSP), offers guaranteed admission to four-year universities, priority registration, specialized advising, and potential tuition assistance. These programs help students complete an Associate Degree for Transfer in two years, saving time and money while streamlining the path to a bachelor’s degree.
FAFSA Help, Step by Step
6:00–8:00 PM
Parent Center
Completing the FAFSA is essential to unlock federal, state, and institutional financial aid, including grants, work-study, and loans. Even for higher-income families, the FAFSA serves as a requirement for many school-based merit scholarships and access to federal loans. Families are encouraged to submit the FAFSA by the priority deadline of March 2, 2026.
Incentives for Students
All seniors who complete the FAFSA will be entered into a drawing for an extra graduation ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be given to students who attended a previous financial aid workshop or who attend College Palooza. Multiple graduation tickets will be raffled during the event.
