- Theatre placed 2nd overall at the Peg Pauly Shakespeare Festival and earned a Superior Rating
- Student-directed One-Act Night showcased Theatre II student leadership
- Launch of Liberty’s first improv team, Cue the Chaos
- Band finished in the Top 10 in the state
- Two students qualified for the California All-State Band and Orchestra
- Liberty hosted its first-ever Fine Arts Week, celebrating creativity across campus
STEM, CTE & Innovation
- Esports revived after four years: 1st place in division and 3rd overall districtwide
- Robotics Team 11475 B earned the top seed for the Kern Robotics League Finals
- Liberty FFA made a historic return to competition after more than a decade, earning multiple Grand and Reserve Champion titles at the Kern County Fair under the leadership of Mrs. Maghan Miller
Athletics
- Eight fall sports teams won league championships
- Football finished as the D-1AA Section Runner-Up
- Volleyball earned the Division II State Runner-Up title
- Doubles Tennis captured the DI Section Championship
Student Support, Wellness & Service
- 22 students successfully completed Tier 2 intervention groups
- Counseling programs strengthened through data-driven caseload and service adjustments to better support student needs
- Numerous student groups, teams, and clubs engaged in meaningful community service, demonstrating leadership, compassion, and Liberty pride beyond campus
As we move into the second semester, our theme of Keep Going, Keep Growing feels especially meaningful. While this list highlights notable successes, it does not capture every moment of growth, achievement, and perseverance that occurred throughout the semester. There are countless ways our students continue to rise, support one another, and represent Liberty each day and with a focus on each day being a bit better than the day even, the possibilities are endless. Don't underestimate the power of a growth mindset and expectation of success.
