Seniors Ali Bulford and Robert Clegg will represent Liberty as top contenders in the SVFL qualifiers, entering the postseason as the #2 and #6 seeds, respectively, from the KRFL. Their accomplishments mark an important milestone for the program.
“The KRFL has a history of producing outstanding debaters, and for Liberty to capture two high seeds in our first year back is something special. I’m so proud, not just of Ali and Bob, but of this entire team. The way they’ve worked hard and stepped up to continue the Patriot legacy of excellence in Speech and Debate brings me a lot of joy,” remarked Coach Dave Ziegler.
The team’s next competition will be the KRFL Speech and Congressional Debate Tournament on Saturday, December 13th at Independence High School, followed by the SVFL state qualifying events next semester.
