The Kern High Film Festival is an annual event hosted by the Kern High School District to recognize and celebrate student filmmakers. The festival provides students with a platform to develop their creative skills and gain recognition for their work in film and media production. There were 178 entries from district schools in this year’s competition.
The students’ teacher, Patrick Vaughan said, “As their instructor, I am beyond proud. I teach them what I can and encourage them to spread their wings and fly. I encourage my students to take chances, to not be afraid to fail, and to be bold.”
