After the matches on Saturday, Dec. 7, teams chose alliance partners based on seeding. Each alliance will compete against the other alliances in a single elimination tournament on Jan. 11 to determine the 2024-2025 Kern Robotics League champion. The league champion earns an automatic qualification to the State Robotics Championship, which is at Cal State Bakersfield in March.
Robotics is an extracurricular club.Team coach and advisor Tom Johnson said, “Our students were excellent hosts and the other teams and spectators were very complimentary of our event.”
Mr. Johnson said Liberty’s students have had solid success with the robots they control in the competitions. “It has been a great season. Team 11475 B completed qualifying matches as the top team in our league. Our other teams also have an excellent chance to win the league championship on Jan. 11.”
