California Math League (CAML) Test on Wednesday

Students have just 30 minutes to answer six questions, which do not parallel specific content of the high school math curriculum. However, at least two of the questions can be solved with geometry or algebra knowledge. Students should check with their math teachers for CAML test classrooms.

The tests are open to any student, although junior and seniors have an advantage because they have been exposed to more math content. Mr. Castro said the questions are applications of ideas that students see in Liberty math classes, and that students’ answers are either right or wrong, as there is no partial credit.
