Fog Delay Information

If a delay (2 hours) is deemed necessary, please note the following:

• Delays will impact ALL high schools in the Greater Bakersfield area
• Delays cannot be called for individual school sites (except Arvin, Kern Valley and Shafter) 
• Delays will be posted on the KCSOS Alert Line Website

• Follow local radio or television stations when weather conditions indicate the possibility of a school delay
• Follow @LHS_Patriots on Twitter for updates

In the event that one of the K-8 feeder districts call a delay KHSD does not, some bus routes will be delayed 2 hours. Please see image/chart on this page to learn what bus routes are delayed if Rio Bravo-Greely, Rosedale, or Fruitvale call delays but Kern High does not.
