and I am Liberty High School 2019 ASB president the picture I just showed you was mean dreaming of one day becoming a patriot however my journey began in 1999, tired as one of the teachers to open the doors to Liberty High along with 24 co-workers still remain here today I am proud to stand before you as part of Liberty High School class of 2019 class of 2019 I would like to welcome principal living faculty friends family and distinguish gas please join me for a walk down memory lane 20 years ago several administrators teachers and parents lay the foundation to what would soon become one of the most thriving School Curry county Escrow where everyone's voice is important in our continuous believe in the power of one is a parent each and every day like Henry Ford quote it nothing is particularly hard if you divide it into small jobs in 1999 Liberty High School open their doors with the help of Administrators teachers and a community which laid the pavement that would soon become one of the top academic schools in Kern County with highest test scores in English and math in 2018 numerous Valley championships in moultonborough Fine Arts programs stadium that we are sitting in today was a community project the most intelligent compassionate and giving students my fellow classmates we have the students The Beehive pot of 2019 we have been given the tools and confidence to achieve and possible Braven at once said always believe in yourself and always stretch yourself beyond your limits a life is worth a lot more than you think because you are capable of accomplishing when you know more potential than you think but you will never know your full potential and lets you keep challenging yourself and pushing beyond your own self-imposed limits we were fortunate to have many role models and I like to see just what it means to be challenged mr. Castro AP Calculus the inspiring teacher with a quote of the day Mr Hicks some things never change our teachers have always been there to see the positive and every Endeavor we might have embarked on during our time here at Liberty and constant reminder that anything is possible if you just believe in yourself however the statement that stands out most of my mind was when Miss Brooks Lane said March 16th 2015 at freshman orientation I challenge you to get involved and can make the biggest difference that statement along with the feeling of costly Express bear fearless leader Miss Wyatt has helped many of us get through stressful but necessary times last but not least the teacher. Open his doors to us every day at lunch for the past four years after seeing you only have one more day today pay we take our first steps into our future by dr. Seuss put it don't cry because it's over smile because it happened tomorrow will start a new chapter for each and every one of us we have been fully equipped and educated to meet this challenge head-on we met the power to inspire the whole world to strive for success but we do have the power to make success a reality for ourselves today I want to extend a challenge to all of you to go out into this world and impact it are doing all you can to reach your full potential 76 of us graduating seniors rise up and see what Mark we can leave on the World Imagine the future we could achieve if we just aim to be the best version of ourselves we must always remember that wherever we go might become we will always have this one in common which we call home my fellow classmates teachers Administration and Liberties Community thank you for laying the foundation that produce great people we are the Patriots
