good morning Patriots I'm Jonathan malat and I know Sunday is what's the latest news Grace over this week so I can right into it back to women's History Month let's get straight into it attending Stanford which double majored in English and physics Sally Ride went on to earn a master's degree in physics and a doctor after earning her doctorate right be that many applicants for a spot in NASA's astronaut program as a mission specialist she became as many no first American woman to travel to space on June 18th 1983 Katharine Graham was a publisher who led the Washington Post for almost thirty years to is the first female publisher of a major newspaper in a 1972 first female CEO of a Fortune 500 company she also won the Pulitzer Prize for her Memoir personal history in 1998 was Katharine Graham and Sally ride's pave the way for women in their Industries that's all for women's History Month this week and back to you guys in the studio who sings Honor Society held a veterans appreciation day was last Wednesday let's see what that looks like Society hosted a banquet for veterans honoring their service and commitment to our freedoms Hughes I'm the secretary of the national social studies Honors Society and its past Wednesday we had a big veterans Appreciation Day event it was a wonderful event where veterans from all of our community here in Bakersfield come together and share their experiences and their sacrifice us in their fight for the protection of our freedoms and Liberties here at home my name is Jesse Ruben. I served in Vietnam in 1960 68 and I am glad that we have schools like this and have something for us veterans and they want to thank us for all the stuff that we did be sure to thank your Veterans for their service and Max guys in Syria Johnson had this past Sunday night done with your favorite movie with Leonardo DiCaprio play Patriots on January man with the LA snooze in today we're going to be talking about the recent Oscars that just happened can you guys believe it the movie everything everywhere all at once 17 Oscars which is almost a new record that's insane and won for best lead actress best supporting actor and many other things also Brendan Fraser won best actor for his work in the whale he hasn't been in any movies recently so is a big comeback and also All Quiet on the Western Front won Oscar for best International feature used to see whether people thought of this year's Oscars can't wait to see what they think I'm here with Anthony Juarez and what are your thoughts on the most recent Oscars Metals wig breath Taco Mater to the one on my mustaches I feel bad for you but we're protesting for real bro hey Taco Maverick on top I know how you feel man a lot of people like that movie well I'm here with Jonathan now and hear his thoughts when I think women's talking should have won best director with Sarah Polley as the Director that is a wonderful Choice thank you for your opinions all right thank you for all your thoughts and comments on this 95th Oscar it was such a good show hopefully next year's it's just as well everyone who won definitely deserve it and I hope you I had a wonderful time back to you guys in the studio Liberty choir sing their hearts out this past Tuesday if you missed it let's check this out saw the pictures, he was last Tuesday on Spotify choir concert check it out honestly have any the Liberty choir department is much better than you but that's okay hopefully you guys were able to go out to the choir concert and check back to you guys in the studio I know a word from our sponsors yeah I'm back in it back in the day money used to be the the establishment of two packs of I was passing it but now I know the news, so we can see that I forgot text to Pat bags I need to pack. And Bob and then the other Thursday to run up to the quad on the back what you want to be customizable it's 4 and you know it's only our band performed on Monday night they were fantastic but chicken with the heart see how that went what's up Liberty Patriots on are you be here to tell you that our band had a crazy concert earlier this week hear some clips from the concert and perrada Overture was premiered as a Overture for winds and percussion by the Center High School band at contest in Warrensburg MO spring of 1964 the entire piece is based on one theme that is buried into numerous alternate treatments although Hazel try to make certain parts of the music title specific aspects of the painting.
