good morning Yu-Gi-Oh one of the most popular anime card games has had Liberty High School today Friday February 17th 2017 good morning I'm running 6s and I'm hopefully Aprilia will get to that story but first these announcements Valentine's Day is next Tuesday SBS when do the fun activity called Cupid's challenge your challenge is to find your matching heart just before lunch teachers of passed out Hearts to their students with their names and number on your challenge is to find the other picture with the matching number don't worry teachers and staff there's a game for you to the first 100 to find their matching report to the outdoor stage will win prizes prizes include free earbuds for your pain beds t-shirts gift cards and candy it should be a sweetheart of a good time I just to leave today is the last day to is your Valentine's Day in grams they are being sold in the quad at lunch for $3 if you signed up to compete in this year's air band competition auditions will take play next Wednesday and Thursday in the Pac-12 for March 8th and 9th the time to be announced in the pac-8 going to be a great show come out and support your fellow pay one Yu-Gi-Oh has taken Liberty by storm in the game two players dual each other using a variety of monster spell and trap cards to defeat the opponent's monsters we had a tournament in the library recently pierced Tyler Lim being with that story Tyler hey guys it's Tyler windy in here with OHS news I'm at the library Liberty held his first Yu-Gi-Oh tournament for those who don't know what you EO is it's a card game or two players do each other using a variety of cards to defeat their opponent by getting life points to zero  the Yugioh card game was invented in 1998 and was named the top selling card game by Guinness World Records on July 2009 since its launch 22 billion cards have been sold worldwide there are numerous variations of cards at the main setting are known as attributes the seven attributes are light dark earth wind fire water and divine each attribute has 24 types of card can be classified as so it's so as you can tell the number of options you have to put in a into a card deck are very high  we did an interview with one of the players here's Chase Rocky so how and when were you introduced to you by my friend Devin he told me at the beginning of the year at the beginning of the school year where are your favorite cards to you my favorite card is actually a pyramid turtle  who do you think is the best player at Liberty my boy Devin he's pretty good at this game  is this the only card game player do you play others yeah I'm pretty loyal video  so as you can see this game is getting very popular at her school if you want to join you'll need your own cards and they meet in the library at lunch good at Spanish so I went to Cal State and I got my credential for Spanish Bachelor's in Communications and I also the Master's Degree years I have taught all the levels special on 233 honors and 40p until class is over it's the Patriot Way who won this year's Relay for Life will be held at the Kern County Fairgrounds on Saturday May 6th starting at 9 in the morning and going through Sunday morning at 9 Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and Liberty has fielded a team for the past 16 years as a school we are raised $100,000 to help the ACs fight cancer please feel free to come out to the event Bakersfield relay is the largest in the world and you are sure to enjoy yourself our boys soccer team has play Frontier and Stockdale losing against the Titans and winning against octave here is Josh Porter with some highlights of that game hi Josh Porter's LHS news here boys soccer play last week against Frontier with a winning score at rue21 in Stockdale for the winning score 220 here somehow it again bet you guys a couple of weeks ago to video production teams competed in a district-wide 18-hour phone competition over 60 teams competed one of our teams consisted of Carson's Jake Pendergrass Matt Meyer Riley Burruss and Scott Harrison the other team consisted of Jared heart Alice Cottrell Robert Martinez Trent Tyler Olympian both teams took first place in their respective categories check out a couple of clips from their movies hey get up hey buddy this is my home last Friday against Garcia's we won here is Derek Delgado with some highlights the score was 67 235 we played Garcia's and overall we had a good game I think all around like defensively we had a really good my press is working out well and rebounding Lies We really crash the boards and it was just an overall good night for us  on Thursday we play Centennial what should be a good game also are we just have to keep crashing the boards and playing good defense and then it'll it'll carry over to the offense job ladies back together Studio  how do you seen the new Pride signage around campus it's beautiful here is Tasha Baker with more Sasha hey it's Dustin I'm sure you and everyone just swear a student store turn down what that exactly means and that Patriot Way what that stands for in a school-wide expectations so again we were inside about getting signs up there you'll seem promising more signs in the future but again is this the way of letting our students and our staff remind them of what the Patriot Way stands for you have a great day will talk to you to give you a quick instruction on how to do it if you want to right now the prices for a full-page ad are $380 a half page is $300 and a quarter is 215 how it works is you can come to the eurokrem and talk to mr.
