Patriot Family,
Homecoming week is October 10-14, so each class is actively planning and preparing for the big week! This is a great opportunity for students to get involved with their classmates to build, paint, choreograph, and create high school memories. The week culminates on the evening of Friday, October 14 @ Patriot Stadium.
Our football teams are back at home this week and we are excited to see our band and color guard perform at halftime of the varsity game on Thursday, October 6. In addition to football, volleyball is at home this Tuesday and Thursday. JV tennis is also at home on Tuesday and Thursday while varsity is on the road. Water polo has a match Wednesday at the new Kern Aquatic Center. Girls golf is at the Bakersfield Country Club on Thursday and cross-country travels back to Woodward park on Saturday.
Thanks for supporting our Patriots this week!

The PSAT is great practice for the SAT and results come with feedback on strengths and areas of improvement. In addition, juniors can qualify for the national merit scholarship. Sophomores and juniors can purchase the exam for $18 at the Finance Office. The exam will be administered online this year in the Library on October 22, 23, or 24. Students can access the PSAT/NMSQT 2024 Student Guide through the link in this news story.
