We are excited to welcome all 9th graders, the class of 2028, this Thursday morning for Freshmen Fling! Freshmen students and parents will join us Thursday, August 8, at 9am (Students in the gym, Parents in the Performing Arts Center.)
Returning students can find their class schedule in StudentVUE on Tuesday, August 6, in afternoon. Our counselors are in the office beginning Wednesday, August 7. Please see the calendar item below with more details about Pre-School Academic Counseling. Students can email counselors through outlook.com.
This week’s Patriot Update also includes the Liberty spring athletes and coaches honored as All-Area by BVaristy.

Congratulations to all the Liberty athletes who were recognized as BVarsity All-Area team members! These include baseball player of the year Brock Thompson, golfer of the year Ty Weaver, girls swimmer of the year Sophia Munoz-Rodriguez, boys co-swimmer of the year Jacob Zimmerman, and girls track athlete of the year Bella Turner. Freshmen Fling & Parent Orientation
Freshmen Fling is Thursday, August 8, 9 AM - 11:30 AM in the gym. Incoming 9th graders will tour the campus, receive their class schedule, pick up their ID card, and much more! Parents will meet in the Performing Arts Center from 9 AM - 10 AM. PE Clothes will also be available for purchase with cash or check.

Bell Schedules and Early Outs
The 2024-2025 bell schedule is the same as last year and can be found on our website under “Resources” or in this news story. School starts every day at 8:30am. On most days school ends at 3:23. However, every Monday is a 1-hour early out and we have a few other 2-hour holiday early outs before Thanksgiving break, Spring break, and Memorial Day weekend. In addition, we have six days of finals, three each semester, where school ends early each day.

ParentVUE App Allows Parents to View Grades
The Synergy ParentVUE app allows parents to monitor their student's grades and attendance. If you have your student's 6 digit UID (student number) and birthdate you can set up your account remotely. In addition, Mrs. Cavazos in the parent center can also help you in person, over the phone, or via email.

Link to Your Student's Canvas as a Parent Observer
Canvas is a Learning Management System that many teachers use to post assignments, collect assignments, and display grades. It is also a great location for students who are absent to find out what they missed. Parents can access their student's classes via Canvas to see the same information students see: announcements, assignments, and graded assignments.
