The 28 club members made 34 caps. They will be donated to the Heavenly Hats, an organization in Wisconsin that distributes the caps to hospitals and organizations including Ronald McDonald Houses.
“The students were happy to donate their time for such a worthwhile cause,” advisor Michelle Lord said. “Seeing our LHS students working in twos to produce such colorful and useful hats was wonderful. The children receiving these hats are at a vulnerable time in their lives and we hope they will know that others care about all they are going through.”
