“The event is a wonderful experience for students,” social studies teacher Eric Ball said. “They get to learn about history from those who served.”
Veterans who participated in the past praised students for their interest and attention, and for their politeness and excellent questions. Between 80 and 100 veterans have attended the morning banquet in past years.
Mr. Ball said, “The veterans have said how great it was to be recognized by students at Liberty High.”
