Unfortunately, the size and scale of this project cannot be completed in the summer. We recently installed eight portable classrooms that will serve as temporary classrooms for the 2 -3 weeks it takes to remove and install the new unit ventilators in about eight classrooms. So, at some point this semester, your student will most likely have classes in the newly installed portable classrooms while the HVAC unit is replaced in their normal classrooms.
Over the break, work was completed on the 1400 building and half of the 1300 building. This week work commences on the 1500 and 1600 buildings, so beginning Tuesday the science classrooms in these buildings will be in the portables for 2 – 3 weeks. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to improve our campus facility.
