Those are teams 11475 B, whose members are Grant McQueen, Luca Garcia, Aydin Garcia, and Thomas Orr, and team 11475 D, whose members are Victor Peel, Brooklyn Wood, Remy Comstock, and Calvin Smith.
Each of the Liberty teams competed in several qualification matches this fall. Based on rankings, the teams chose alliance partners after the qualification matches were completed. The matches were then played between a pair of alliance partners competing against another pair of alliance partners.
The other two Liberty teams, 11475 A with Melissa Shamburg, Vivian Moody, Zoya Firdous, and Gianna Barrica, and team 11475 C, with Michael Kyei, Sebastian Tordo, and Johnathan Lo, were teamed together in an alliance but were knocked out of the competition in Round 16.
Two of the teams also won judging awards. Team 11475 C won the Judges’ Award recognizing their efforts and accomplishments during the 2022 Kern Robotics High School League. Team 11475 D won the Innovate Award recognizing the team with the most innovative design of their robot.
