According to NHS advisor Brooke Richter, “The Salvation Army coordinator told us that last year's donation from Liberty’s NHS was the largest single collection they made all year, and combined with other donations, helped keep their pantries stocked for six months.”
Members of the National English Honor Society also participated in the can drive.
The National Honor Society will be doing a toy drive for the Salvation Army in December, as well.
