SENIOR SIGNING – May 22nd @ 10:12am in the gym. We will be honoring the seniors that will be attending any college, trade school and joining the military. Honor Society regalia will be presented to students as well.
SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT – May 22nd @ 6:30pm in the gym. We will be honoring the seniors that have received scholarships this year.
BACCALAUREATE CEREMONY – Liberty Bible Club sponsors the Baccalaureate Ceremony. This nondenominational religious ceremony honoring seniors will be held May 23rd @ 6:30pm in the PAC. Graduates report at 5:45pm wearing your gown over your Sunday best clothing. Parents will enjoy this student – sponsored ceremony.
SENIOR CHECKOUT – May 23rd by 4:00pm
Senior checkout requires final signatures from the textbook office, finance office, library, current teachers and registrar. Students should bring their student I.D. to check out. All present and past debt accrued at Liberty, or another high school in the KHSD, must be cleared through Finance. At the end of each final exam seniors are to check in their textbooks. Textbooks are to be turned into the textbook office ONLY. Books are not to be turned into teachers. Checking in and clearing textbook obligations will be available until 4:00pm each day of finals. You must clear textbooks before clearing finance. Seniors must turn in the “Senior Clearance Sheet” to their counselor.
GRAD NITE @ MAGIC MOUNTAIN – May 23rd – Check in at 8:15pm in bus loading zone. Tickets for entry into the park and your charter bus ride to and from the event will be $120.00. Dress code and park rules will be given to you upon purchase of your ticket. A parent permission slip is to be handed in when you purchase your ticket. Those forms are available in the activities office.
SENIOR FAREWELL BREAKFAST/HYPNOTIST SHOW/PRIZES ON TUESDAY, MAY 28TH – Meet in the cafeteria to celebrate one last day together as the CLASS of 2019! Bring your C2G card from freshman year to be eligible for prize giveaways.
SENIOR SEATING PRACTICE
Wednesday, May 29th – Seniors report to their 1st period class and will be escorted to the gym for MANDATORY graduation seating practice.
MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE – May 30th
Seniors report to their 3rd period class and teachers will escort them to the gym. (8:30am – 12:30pm) Distribution of graduation tickets after practice.
Thursday, May 30th,7:30pm
Check in: All graduates must check in at 6:15 pm in the gym. All graduates will be searched before entering the gym. Wear your cap and gown. Don’t forget to bring your tassel. Staff will not hold items for graduates. LHS is not responsible for phones, purses, etc. Only designated LHS cap and gown and honor stoles will be approved for graduation apparel. No additional items may be worn. Appropriate dress attire and shoes must be worn under the cap and gown.
(The dress code for males is nice khaki/slacks and polo or button up shirt.
Females summer dress, romper, nice slacks and top.)
