Welcome to the month of March at LHS! We
finished a successful Winter sports program and are well into Springs
sports. Many of the Spring sports
carry many students on their rosters….so there is a large amount of
students participating in athletics.
Besides, athletics the band is in full swing with their drum line
and color guard competitions.
You can drive by the school early in the morning and enjoy a
little drumming. I am so
proud of all of the LHS students.
We
are on the home stretch now and I need your help.
Please help us make sure students are staying healthy and
maintaining their diligence in the classroom.
They need to get plenty of rest (easier said than done most daysJ)
and manage their time wisely.
We appreciate all of your help at home to make sure your students
are successful.
Liberty High School has
been fortunate enough to receive a grant from Stuart Petroleum.
Thanks to the efforts of Choy and Moy Chau and C-Mart Mobile
located at 500 Norris Rd, we have been granted a $500 ExxonMobil
Educational Alliance grant to support our Schools Math and Science
programs. The ExxonMobil
Corporation continues to sponsor us and education through Upromise which
helps ExxonMobil customers earn college funds.
