good morning pages on Jake Hernandez news the district-wide 24 Hour film Project included last week Liberty size team consists of Robert Martinez Samantha say hi Eric Allen and myself and we took play Star film also won best director and best I could so we did pretty good out there here's another digital segments what do you have for this week Alicia run with us here with the l not this week hey guys I'm Alisha Reiser with LHS news did you know there are more chickens than people in the world say that you're fine but you're not really fine tell me a Joseph Campbell with this week special and we take it away for a scale from Elitches news and so do you want to be interviewing seniors on what they're going to do after high school I don't know after high school I strive to get my own Taco Bell and hopefully become the CEO of Taco Bell's After High School I am going to do what my role model Miss Associated does and I want to become a professional wrestler left the high school since the early out I'm going home I might go with him honestly I'm going to be a doctor After High School is just like every other Asian or I'm going to be a disgrace my parents it's me just have been bound by two guys in the studio we only had three TV stations and we had to get up and you only turn them on a dial we didn't have VHS as yet so we had no videos that we can watch on tape so for me special morning so it's a special treat on because that was the only time we got to watch cartoons they only came on Saturday mornings between about 7 a.m. till 10 I am and so my sister and I would wake up and go out in our pajamas and have donuts and chocolate milk and watch The Smurfs So Good Times thanks I really enjoyed it it's kind of crazy to think about how far Technologies, Advantage news on Tuesday at May 1st 16th students from Liberty participate in an annual AP Statistics and AP Calculus competition for the central region are represented our school well good job guys top individual score was from Declan Gastineau the team made up by Declan Gastineau Serena bhakta Justin Yakko and Justin Guzman placed 3rd overall good job guys are best individual score was from Vincent Tran who also 5th overall in the individual the team was made up of Vincent Konami Lula Hannah Bray and Flint Sheffield and they took third place and overall competition congratulations to all you guys out there promises Broken Egg Wisconsin have the opportunity do CPR this week with that you'll Parker latest news here unless there's a mrs. bocanegra's 4th. By medical students got taught how to do CPR let's see some highlights of about 10 people from the heart so here today and nursing staff community outreach staff over here teaching the biomedical science students hands-only CPR and how use 86 what they're learning is how to react when someone's in a cardiac event and how you potentially say their wives hi I'm Cynthia a nurse at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital and we wanted to talk to you guys a little bit about an upcoming program we have that's free it's called Olivia's Heart Project and we do free screen cardiograms for I'm kids it's on May 12th from 9 to 3 and we do at 18 years old you come to the hospital and you have a free EKG done if we see anything I've been on that EKG at that point then we can Pediatric Cardiologist take a look at you you need to register first and get signed up and it's completely free hope to see you soon on our side is granting 10 $250 garlic listen to $100 scholarships to senior members of the local Charter who are in good standing for the guidelines seniors if you don't like to participate in the college Signing Day on May go to Google Classroom into Costco to Costco be right here the deadline is May 18th if you have any further questions in the office thank you summer school classes Auto Tech 3D animation certified personal trainer preparation and introduction to welding Foot Locker carpet to get your paperwork are distributed to the seniors this week I personally I like him a lot but let's see what some other seniors have to say about it I can't send you here at Liberty News seniors got their yearbooks on Wednesday and I went after school to find out what people think about it hi my name is Katie Gonzalez and I'm this year's Super editor of the yearbook staff and this has been absolutely the most incredible book that there's been yet we have an incredible cover and I am incredibly proud of this your staff they work so hard they stay so many hours after school and of course with our advisor Mr tiddles we've been able to put together something truly special that city of the school year all right. Today we didn't see any distribution if your a lower classement and or a junior cafeteria next Wednesday be there or be bookless if you guys haven't gotten already you should really get it it's pretty cool yearbook back to you guys in the studio what check it out hey guys I'm Jose LHS news. Classmate children's books about immigration that are in our Spanish courses went ahead and create children's books and the purpose of these children's books is to inform children about the struggles of refugees and the struggles of immigrant children the student has created these books in order to install other children and also to break curses and Great Stirrup tights and they did a wonderful job. I am so proud of their hard work for those who didn't know there's a new movie theater on Rosedale Highway Studio Movie Grill here Samantha say how to tell us a little bit about it mlhs new there was a little twist here in Bakersfield city of Movie Grill ask him check it out inside enjoyed some of the brand new movies out there you can also enjoy some quality food seniors don't forget there a ton of scholarships available check the Daily Bulletin online or see mr. Tucci in the counseling office May 15th if you are unsure if you have any books out checking the library see and now here's my deal with the sports take away Michael Madison bring Hackensack school from here. Just started kicking around and then I don't know where we going and I got a bunch of sounds like really cold out so I can see now you can't the beach was fun but now I'm back it's going to be in the 80s next week on Zeke to get back to you in the studio is it almost over but it's about time I hope you guys enjoyed mine and Jake's last new show here you guys have been great to us seniors and have a great weekend see you later
