good morning saying goodbye it's the last week of school and for many of the last week of their High School careers today Friday May 19th 2017 good morning on Carson speaker and I'm at the Meijer they came magic map will get to that store in the moment for frisbees announcements the final drama production of the year was spec Parker Cody is here with that story Parker hey guys break your cloudy here with the latest news in 2 weeks ago is a play called perspectives 3 here's some highlights the play was very entertaining and also surprisingly very funny the play was a compilation of various comedic scenes from various plays each of the six scenes in the play are a comedic look at Life as we know it some scenes challenged you to understand the true meaning behind the dialogue it truly was an unforgettable night once again it was practically without latest news about you guys in studio we just received our yearbooks and they are beautiful if you haven't bought them yet they are still available $90 at finance office want to work on the yearbook next year application still being accepted for next year's yearbook staff see Miss or tittle in room 1105 for details well they were at again last Tuesday we were students again made blankets for alliance against Family Violence and sexual assault way to go Patriots  my first story of human famous Liberty High School seniors or hoping to make an impact in the community project fleece 11 blankets what's Simon has really become a project of passion they're giving back to the alliance against Family Violence and sexual assault in a very unique way take a look one of the projects text citizen is an assignment each year to the senior econ students of Liberty High these kids do did the alliance against Family Violence and sexual assault in Bakersfield in a time when they actually need comfort their mission is twofold not only how victims but also raise awareness and intolerance of Domestic and Sexual Violence sink the blankets are more symbolic of the fact that there's people out here that do care and we do know what's happening that we are there for you if you ever need someone stop of good having a lot of fun and learning a lot on the way now back to the studio as I'm sure you remember last year we raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to send little Vanessa to Disneyland well she finally was able to here is floor Batista with that story floor  last year Liberty High School paired up with Make-A-Wish Foundation send Vanessa off to Disneyland trip sadly she wasn't able to go on the year 2016 this year 2017 she will be making her trip what is Vanessa got here she seemed very nervous but also very happy able to say hello to some of the Liberty students as well as take pictures with them  students pretty high school we're extremely happy to see her wish come true girls are quickly approaching seniors tanks on next week in the rest of us take them the following week finish Strong by Sonny and hard and make the last push for the best grades you can get as the year comes how close we have many activities going on be sure to check out The Daily Bulletin and the calendar on the Liberty website for more information don't miss out on many activities such as spring Sports I seen your check out tonight and grab night  what are those activities that just happened is the Patriot Ward here's a quick story on that hi that's Porter here. Just news Patriot Awards was last Monday for those of you don't know Patriot awards are accomplishments made by students in the classroom recognized by teachers hear the Ohio next to Sandy's Towing Stacey Baca because her face is always on top of her game academically she always comes in the closet and bright smile to get to work usually working a little ahead of others season 6 very seriously and spends hours at home to be sure is ready with some reflex for best method I'm so pleased with your dedication as a student she truly exemplifies the Patriot Way the just AZ what city was a great turnout not back to you at the studio  hey guys it's time to run being here with play chess news I'm here outside the gym where the Iron Man volleyball tournament took place on April 27th  Iron Man is a volleyball tournament between junior and senior boys  the seniors ended up winning three out of five matches  both students and parents came to cheer them on during great game hopefully everyone had a good time thanks guys back to you and Steve you Henry Year miss our fun heads up to Liberty High School Relay for Life team Relay for Life helps raise money and awareness for cancer and celebrates his survivors here's Obi with that story Obi  hey guys got Harrison filling in for OB here in videos from Relay For Life relay and sad Turn It Down For What make cancer to cancer out of this world and make it a better place thanks guys back to you still scholarship opportunities available for you took all the Daily Bulletin for information mini scholarship go on because they don't get any application to see if there is something that you are qualify for  all the sweeper with LHS news and Thursday May 11th 7 Liberty student sign for colleges for track and field Grant Vice signed to Midland University Cagney Duncan signs at Sacramento State and Robertson star sign to Holy names University in Oakland is headed to Loyola Marymount and Madison has signed to a woman soccer program castings College Griffin signed to play football at University of Redlands and Matt Anderson is headed to play baseball at Midland hey you you're so special you know that right some of our video production students put together really nice video for you hope you enjoy it yes you stop being unhappy with yourself you're perfect stop wishing you look like someone else smash as they like someone else stop trying to get attention from those who heard you stop hating your body your face love them without those things you wouldn't be you and why would you want to be anyone else be careful with who you are smile low Drop people in it because you're happy with yourself and stick your hand in the air and say screw it happy because I love the way I love my flaws I love my Perfections they make me me and me is pretty amazing as a year comes to a close one of the annual activities is our closing ceremony that celebrates our graduating seniors here's post way Prolo with that story play almost news and Thursday the 27th we had the closing ceremony for seniors and with more information on that tractor in case you didn't know that I'm so picture Pride closing ceremonies is one of I think my favorite days we started this I believe five or six year go and it is just a day or an assembly just for us to really celebrate all of the things that we do as a school so community service everything that we do for others which is just really I think just promotes a really positive School climate and culture so it's one of my favorite days nice to kind of celebrate the seniors especially in front of the whole school because not everybody gets to see them and their caps and gowns and can reminds the other students really what the angle of high school is that is to walk across that stage in 4 years Ogden Bass play with the first-ever Liberty High School sports report our boys golf team placed 3rd in the s w y l and 3rd in the area championships and qualified for the valley champ what's your place on Monday they hope to have a few individuals qualify for the Southern California regionals on Thursday May 25th at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena are boys tennis team finished second and League five boys made it to area playoffs Nolan and Philip Shafiq won the doubles in the league championship and have earned number one seat for area playoffs undefeated and won League championships the varsity Boston four years of one fourth straight League championships on the Varsity Boys side Julio are contour 100 yd backstroke I will be competing in the state championships today in Clovis good luck Julio  hi I'm once I get on with LHS news and last week we hosted a track and we did get over all here some highlights on that a job Liberty back together the here's the last we're cast of the year with Derek Delgado Derek hey guys here's the weather for this week San Diego area besides looking at a 72 - 58 degrees San Diego is that a 75 - 60 + Angeles Coastal area burping is at 86 and 62 degrees Los Angeles 83262 Santa Monica beach is mostly sunny at 77 to 60 degrees long beach is sunny with a temperature of 78 to 60 degrees and how long is that 71 -
